On the afternoon of 13 July, the graduation ceremony of the 10th ‘High-quality Chinese Language Training Program for Thai High School Students in China’ was held in the School of International Education of KUST. Dr. Worasak Watcharakamtorn, Chairman of the Thailand China-Thailand Educational Exchange Association, Sai Thapa, Vice Principal of Kanchanapise Middle School in Nakhon Pathom Province, and 53 Thai high school students participating in this training program attended the ceremony.

The head of the School of International Education reviewed the course of the program over the past 10 years, introduced fruitful results achieved by the program, expressed gratitude to the China-Thailand Educational Exchange Association as well as the partner schools for their strong support, and congratulated the Thai students on their successful completion.

Worasak and Sai Thapa spoke highly of the operation effect of the program, appreciated the academic progress and growth of Thai students at KUST, and hoped to continue educational cooperation with KUST to cultivate more young talents for the development of humanistic exchanges and friendly relations between the two countries. Worasak said:‘ We are pleased to see the friendly concept of ‘China and Thailand are one family’ continues to be passed on and carried forward in the generation of young students.’
The Thai students performed lively Chinese dramas, vivid calligraphy displays, and imaginative Chinese short video works, all of which expressed their deep affection toward KUST and Chinese teachers.
The ‘High-quality Chinese Language Training Program for Thai High School Students in China’ has become a high-quality training program for international students at KUST and has trained nearly a thousand Thai high school students since 2013.
