On June 6th, Professor Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), along with Professor Tanapo Somyong, Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering, visited Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST). Vice President Yi Jianhong represented KUST at the meeting.

Yi Jianhong gave a general overview of KUST, reviewed the history of cooperation with RMUTP, and expressed sincere gratitude to RMUTP for receiving KUST’s exchange students multiple times and providing meticulous care. Yi Jianhong hoped that through the joint efforts of both universities, more fruitful cooperation could be achieved in education, scientific research, and cultural exchange. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul introduced the basic information of RMUTP and looked forward to comprehensive cooperation with KUST.

RMUTP, located in the center of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, was initially established by the Thai Royal Family. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education of Thailand and is a university focused on science and technology education and research. Dean Tanapo Somyong is a foreign expert introduced to the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering.

The heads of the Division of International Cooperation, the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering, and the School of International Education participated in the exchange.
