On August 23rd, Pramoch Rangsunvigit, dean of the Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand led a delegation to visit the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering, KUST. Heads, teachers, as well as undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering attended the symposium.
At the symposium, the head of the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering introduced the history of the faculty, its student cultivation method, scientific research, and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, among other relevant information. Dean Pramoch Rangsunvigit introduced the courses for graduate students, research fields, and research facilities of the Petroleum and Petrochemical College. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on education programmes, scientific research cooperation, exchange programmes, and scholarship applications to look for opportunities for further cooperation. Such exchanges will bring new opportunities for both sides to jointly pursue international education and conduct other exchanges and cooperation.
After the symposium, the delegation visited the research laboratories of the National-Provincial Joint Engineering Centre for Recovery of Waste Gases from Metallurgical and Chemical Industries, the Innovation Team of the Purification and Recycle of Industrial Waste Gas, the Innovation Team of Environmental and Ecological Science and Engineering, the Innovation Team of the Prevention and Control of Plateau Water Environmental Pollution, the Innovation Team of the Recycle and Harmless Treatment of Solid Wastes, and the Innovation Team of Advanced Environment Function Materials.
