During the summer vacation, KUST, under the invitation of the Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) of Thailand, organized more than 40 outstanding students to go to the university in two batches for educational visits and exchanges.

At RMUTP, the visiting students took part in diversified featured courses such as International Economy, Modern Intelligent Processing, Thai Flower Arrangement Art, Muay Thai, as well as Thai Spinning and Dyeing. During their stay, they were fully engaged in the courses, consulted the teachers open-mindedly, and interacted and collaborated actively with the local students. The leaders and teachers of RMUTP spoke highly of their performance. In their spare time, the visitors also participated in local cultural activities to learn about Thai history and culture, as well as political and economic characteristics.

The visiting event is designed to provide students with an opportunity to experience Thai culture, broaden their international horizons, and improve their international communicative competence. It will also facilitate more international cooperation between KUST and overseas universities, and promote the exchanges and integration among young college students from China, South Asia, and Southeast Asia in the areas such as sports, culture, language, science, and technology. In the future, KUST will continue to strengthen its exchanges and cooperation with overseas universities, offer more high-quality exchange programs for teachers and students, and cultivate versatile and innovative international talents who are well-versed in international rules.

RMUTP is a national university located in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. It was founded by the Thai royal family and is currently affiliated with the Ministry of Education of Thailand. The university, focusing on scientific and technological education and research, plays a vital role in Thailand in cultivating the talents in need and enhancing personnel qualities. RMUTP is one of the first Thai universities accredited by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
