By September 18th, 2020,as the curtain respectively descended on the training classes of Marketing in Wuding County and Poverty Alleviation in Yongsheng County, Yunnan Institute of Industrial Administrators (YIIA) has completed the training tasks of 2020 “Free Education to the Countryside and Industrial Poverty Alleviation” issued by the Organization Departmentof Yunnan Provincial Party Committee (YPPC). The series of training have contributed talents and intelligence to the efforts of eliminating poverty and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
The year 2020 is the final year of securing a decisive victory in the battle against poverty and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. The Organization Department of YPPC coordinated provincial cadre training institutions to deliver free classes to the grassroots-level cadres to meet their urgent needs for knowledge of poverty alleviation. Relying on the disciplinary advantage of KUST, YIIA centers around the industrial poverty alleviation. While consolidating the gains of anti-poverty achievements, YIIA has been promoting the industry to boost the development of agriculture, enhance the sustainable development capacity and accelerate the shift to the rural vitalization strategy. This year, YIIA undertook the cadre training tasksof ten counties, including Linxiang District of Lincang City, Huize County of Qujing City, Eryuan County of Dali Prefecture, Lanping County of Nujiang Prefecture, Yongsheng County of Lijiang City, Wuding County of Chuxiong Prefecture, Qiubei County of Wenshan Prefecture, Lancang County of Pu’er City, Mengla County of Banna Prefecture and Longchuan County of Dehong Prefecture. Nearly 5,000 frontline poverty relief officials were trained on eight topics concerning “Beautiful Countryside Construction”, “Agriculture Industrialization on Highland”, “Innovation-Driven Industry”, “Water Pollution Control and Ecological Protection” and “Marketing Management”.
It is reported that YIIA has undertaken the 2019 and 2020 tasks of “Free Education to the Countryside” two years in a row. With its efforts, around ten thousand workers for poverty alleviation in twenty poverty-stricken counties have accessed to the most-needed industrial knowledge. Having been strongly supported by technical personnel and intellectual assistance, the industry development in these areas has been gradually integrating into the course of targeted poverty alleviation. The training tasks have made positive contributions to consolidating the foundation for sustainable development in overcoming poverty and realizing the strategic shift to rural revitalization.
