From April 26th to 27th, staff from the Division of Overseas Cooperation and the Division of Finance of KUST visited Ningbo University (NBU) and the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) for study and exchange.
On the 26th, the staff arrived in Ningbo University to conduct a special investigation on a series of issues such as the management of Sino-foreign cooperation projects, the establishment of a Sino-foreign cooperative institution as a non-independent business entity, and the guarantee and management of its financial system. The heads of the Finance Office, the International Office, Union College of Angers University and NBU (a Chinese-foreign cooperative college as a non-independent business entity), and the Sino-foreign Cooperation Projects Office from NBU attended the meeting. The conference briefly introduced the history of the founding of NBU and its development, and presented in detail the university's financial support for the internationalization construction and development, as well as the plan and use of funds for Sino-foreign cooperation. The conference also introduced the financial system and performance incentive mechanism of Sino-foreign cooperative institutions, as well as the background of the bidding, construction and operation of such institutions, and project evaluation.
On the 27th, the staff visited the University of Nottingham Ningbo China to conduct a special investigation on a series of issues, such as the application and operation of Sino-foreign cooperative institutions, the recruitment and management of foreign teachers, the financial system, the government's investment in running schools, the site to run a school, ideological and political curricula, and its teaching.
