On March 31st, the Denmark Chinese Language Teaching Seminar (DCLTS) was held jointly by KUST, Next Education Group, Denmark (NEGD), and Borupgaard Gymnasium. The seminar was held simultaneously online and offline. A total of 46 people participated in online discussions and communications, including the representatives of NEGD, the Borupgaard Gymnasium, the Baltorp Business Gymnasium, the Stenhus Gymnasium (Boarding School), the Orestad Gymnasium, the Mermaid Chinese Culture School, and the Kinesiske Kulturklub Mermaid Chinese Culture School (MCCS). Additionally, the meeting was attended by the relevant heads of the School of International Education at KUST, as well as teachers and students from the major TCSOL, and from the Affiliated High School at KUST.
XIA Lan from Borupgaard Gymnasium, a subordinate Chineselanguageteaching center, introduced the origin and development stages alongsidethemainhistory of Chinese teaching in Denmark. She also held an in-depth discussion with the teachers and students.
The successful seminar proved helpful to further understanding the current local demand for Chinese teaching in Denmark. Hopefully, it will also play a positive role inpromoting the localization andspecialization of Chinese education in the future, creating classic and original Chinese teaching resources, while also promoting the innovative development of Chinese education in Denmark.
