On the evening of December 26, the 13th "Red Earth Love · Global Flair" Gala for International and Chinese Teachers and Students took place at the Chenggong Campus of Kunming University of Science and Technology. International students from 43 countries, including Pakistan, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Mongolia, performed alongside the university's teachers and students, gathering together in a vibrant display of cultural exchange and mutual learning. The event highlighted the university's proactive efforts in promoting the building of a community with a shared future for humanity in the new era. Related vice Presidents of the University, along with heads of relevant departments, attended the event.

Prof. Jiang Yehua, the vice President, stated that "Red Earth Love · Global Flair" demonstrates KUST’s broad-mindedness and steadfast steps toward engaging with the world and promoting mutual learning among civilizations. KUST will continue to create more platforms for cross-cultural exchanges, deepen friendships between Chinese and international teachers and students, and foster the harmonious coexistence of diverse cultures.

The "Red Earth Love · Global Flair" series of activities has become a vital platform for KUST in promoting international cultural exchanges and strengthening friendships between Chinese and international teachers and students. Over the years, the event has attracted participation from teachers and students from nearly a hundred countries, gradually evolving into a widespread and highly interactive mechanism for cultural and people-to-people exchanges. In the future, the university will continue to hold such activities, providing an even broader stage for cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
