On May 20, a delegation of 10 members from Kasetsart University, Thailand, led by Assistant to the President Dr. SUVAPORN PHASUK and Dean of the Faculty of Economics Asst. Prof. VISIT LIMSOMBUNCHAI, visited Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST). Representatives from KUST’ s Division of International Cooperation, Faculty of Management and Economics, School of International Education, and Faculty of China-Lao Engineering and Technology attended the discussion.  

During the meeting, both sides introduced their respective universities’ general profiles, disciplinary strengths, and international cooperation initiatives. They engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the development of economics programs, research collaboration, faculty exchanges, and short-term student exchange and joint training programs. This exchange laid a solid foundation for future cooperation, with both parties agreeing to prioritize short-term faculty and student exchange programs as the next step.

Kasetsart University is a national comprehensive university in the Kingdom of Thailand and one of the country's oldest higher education institutions. Renowned for its world-leading programs in agriculture and forestry, the university excels in multiple disciplines at the national level and holds significant international influence.
