On the afternoon of August 4th, graduation ceremony for the 2015 undergraduatesfrom Laos majoring in clinical medicine of KUST was held in the affiliated Xishuangbanna Prefecture People’s Hospital. Heads and faculties ofMedical School and School of International Education of KUST and Xishuangban Prefecture People's Hospital attended the ceremony.

On behalf of KUST, the relevant heads of colleges congratulated Lao students forcompleting their studies, hoping that they would contribute to the medical and health services in their hometowns after returning to Laos, and expressed gratitude to the teachers who worked hard to educate overseas students.
Heads of Medical School, School of International Education and affiliated Hospital turned the tassels and conferred degree certificates and diplomas for Lao undergraduates.

The 2015 undergraduates from Laos in clinical medicine are the first batch of international students in clinical medicine jointly educated by KUST, Xishuangbanna Prefecture Hospital and Xishuangbanna Vocational and Technical Institute. It is a concrete measure to implement the “Belt and Road” initiative and to build a community with a shared future for mankind. The measure will definitely promote in-depth cooperation between KUST and Laos in the medical and health field.
