On June 19, ZHU Shaowu, Chairman ofthe Board of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd. with his team visited KUST for thesigning ofa strategic cooperation agreementand a donation ceremony was held at the same time. Chair ofthe University Council ZHANG Yingjie, President WANG Xueqin, Vice PresidentsSHU Hongchun, YANG Bin, andMA Wenhu,and heads of the relevant departments andfacultiesattended the ceremony.

Chair ZHANG Yingjie said that the agreementis a newstarting point forthedeeper cooperation betweenKUST and Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd., which will establish an effective platform for the development of education and the localeconomy, and help expand the scope ofcooperation. President WANG Xueqinpointed out that Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd. has contributed to thehistorical development of KUST andboth sideshave established asolid foundation and favorable conditions fortheircooperation. It is hoped that with the signing of the cooperation agreement, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation in scientific research projects, talents training and cultural exchanges so as to produce more fruitful results.

ZHU Shaowu,Chairmanof the Board ofSino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd.,appreciated KUST’s talents and intellectual support for the development of the company, and hoped that both partieswill promote the implementation of the cooperation agreement and make contributions to the development of Yunnan's green energy industry and economy by taking full advantages of both sides.

President WANG XueqinandMs.GUO Junmei, General Manager of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd., signed a cooperation agreement on behalf ofeach siderespectively. According to the agreement, the university andtheenterprise will carry out in-depth cooperation of integration and scientific research in key laboratories in Yunnan Province, preparation technology of new energy materials made from rare and precious metals, new vacuum metallurgy technology, composite material equipment technology, supramolecular material extraction technology, advanced emission control testing technology, and many other fields. The Agreement will helpbuilda platform for the transformation and transferring of scientific and technological achievements,andestablish thetraining and exchange mechanism for management personnelso that the University and the Company will be able to jointly cultivate talentsavailablefor the development of the green energy industry.

On behalf ofKUST, Vice President YANG Binsigned a donation agreement with CHEN Jialin, Deputy General Manager of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd..ZHOU Limin, Deputy General Manager, on behalf of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd., donated 300,000yuan to KUST as athe“ScholarshipforPreciousMetalResearch Talents Project”, and Vice President MA Wenhuiaccepted the donationon behalf of the universityand issued a donation certificate tothe Company.
