Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signed between KUST and Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd.

On June 19, ZHU Shaowu, Chairman of the Board of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd. with his team visited KUST for the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement and a donation ceremony was held at the same time. Chair of the University Council  ZHANG Yingjie, President WANG Xueqin,  Vice Presidents SHU Hongchun, YANG Bin, and MA Wenhu, and heads of the relevant departments and faculties attended the ceremony.

 

 

Chair ZHANG Yingjie said that the agreement is a new starting point for the deeper cooperation between KUST and Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd., which will establish an effective platform for the development of education and the local economy, and help expand the scope of cooperation. President WANG Xueqin pointed out that Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd. has contributed to the historical development of KUST and both sides have established a solid foundation and favorable conditions for their cooperation. It is hoped that with the signing of the cooperation agreement, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation in scientific research projects, talents training and cultural exchanges so as to produce more fruitful results.

 

 

ZHU Shaowu, Chairman of the Board of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd., appreciated KUST’s talents and intellectual support for the development of the company, and hoped that both parties will promote the implementation of the cooperation agreement and make contributions to the development of Yunnan's green energy industry and economy by taking full advantages of both sides.

 

 

President WANG Xueqin and Ms. GUO Junmei, General Manager of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd., signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of each side respectively. According to the agreement, the university and the enterprise will carry out in-depth cooperation of integration and scientific research in key laboratories in Yunnan Province, preparation technology of new energy materials made from rare and precious metals, new vacuum metallurgy technology, composite material equipment technology, supramolecular material extraction technology, advanced emission control testing technology, and many other fields. The Agreement will help build a platform for the transformation and transferring of scientific and technological achievements, and establish the training and exchange mechanism for management personnel so that the University and the Company will be able to jointly cultivate talents available for the development of the green energy industry.

 

 

On behalf of KUST, Vice President YANG Bin signed a donation agreement with CHEN Jialin, Deputy General Manager of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd.. ZHOU Limin, Deputy General Manager, on behalf of Sino-Precious Metals Holding Group Co., Ltd., donated 300,000 yuan to KUST as a the Scholarship for Precious Metal Research Talents Project”, and Vice President MA Wenhui accepted the donation on behalf of the university and issued a donation certificate to the Company.
