Faculty of Art & Communication Attended Sino-Italian Innovation & Cultivation of Art Education Forum

Recently, The Sino-Italian Innovation and Cultivation of Art Education Forum was held in Chongqing, China. The Forum was sponsored by the China Education Association for International Exchange, hosted by Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and co-sponsored by China Vista Education Group. About 400 people including leaders and experts from art colleges of China and Italy participated in the Forum. KUST’s Faculty of Art and Communication was invited to participate in the Forum as a partner of Sino-Italian art education and was granted as a "Sino-Italian Demonstration Base of International Education Cooperation ".



The Forum, themed on "Sino-Italian art education serving social innovation" followed the principle of "Sharing, Innovation, Cooperation, Win-win". Attendees of the Forum extensively exchanged ideas on the experience, philosophies, evaluation and quality assurance of innovation training of fine artistic education, music education  and art science. They also interpreted the ideas of innovation training of artistic education, explore the development of artistic education, exchange ideas on the core experience, and contribute to the international development of China and Italy and high-quality artistic talents  training.


During the forum, the major forum centered around the theme of "innovative cultivation of art education" in the new era and the sub-forums covered such themes as "innovative cultivation of higher art education" and "innovative cultivation of art education in primary and secondary schools". 46 leaders and experts from Chinese and Italian colleges exchanged experiences and expounded their views from their respective research fields, providing suggestions for the innovative cultivation of art education in China and Italy.
