KUST Postgraduate Students Had Short-term Visit to Nanyang Technological University

From September 21 to 28, a KUST postgraduate student delegation visited Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for a short-term overseas academic exchange.

The teachers and students of the delegation made deep exchanges with those of Nanyang Technological University through course learning, group discussions, seminars and so on, and carried out the field investigation on the Singapore City Exhibition Center and the Housing Development Center, getting a knowledge of the different concepts of national administration, urban design, transportation planning and home (housing) construction in Singapore. They also visited the new water plant to learn about the research and development of the "water collection and water control" technology in Singapore. In addition, the postgraduate students of the delegation and Chinese students of Nanyang Technological University sang the song "My People, My Country" in chorus to celebrate the 70th birthday of New China. All of the delegation said that they had benefited a lot from the short-term overseas exchange.

Since 2018, KUST has carried out a series of short-term overseas exchange programs for postgraduate students, aiming at enhancing their awareness of international academic exchanges, expanding their international horizons and improving their innovative ability of science and technology. In the future, KUST will continue to promote short-term overseas exchange programs for postgraduate students, providing more opportunities to exchange and learning.
