KUST Outstanding Alumni LI Shuncai Interviewed by China.com.cn

On the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Li Shuncai, an outstanding alumni of KUST, was interviewed by China.com.cn. By writing "A Letter to the Motherland", he introduced his own personal experience and feeling of participating in the construction of water conservancy and hydro-power projects, and witnessed the great achievements in water conservancy and hydro-power since the reform and opening up of new China.

 

Li Shuncai, majoring in water conservancy and hydropower engineering, graduated from KUST in 1984. He is now the deputy chief engineer of the Construction and Administration Bureau of South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project of the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) and has made outstanding contributions to the development of water conservancy and hydropower in China. He participated in the construction of a number of large projects such as Lubuge Hydropower Station, Manwan Hydropower Station, Three Gorges Hydropower Station and South-to-North Water Diversion Project. He was once the Director of Technology Department of the Three Gorges Headquarter of China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC), the Director of Production and Operation Department of CGGC, the Director of Engineering Construction Department of the Construction and Administration Bureau of South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project, and the Deputy Chief Economist of the Bureau.
