Vice Chair TIAN Jun Led Delegation to Visit Myanmar and Cambodia

KUST's Council Vice Chair TIAN Jun led a delegation to visit Myanmar and Cambodia for exchanging views and signing cooperation agreements from July 29 to August 3.


On behalf of KUST, Vice Chair TIAN Jun  signed the cooperation agreement of "Cambodian Undergraduate Student Training Programme", which opened a new multi-party cooperation mode of "enterprise + fund + university" for international students.



The delegation visited Mandalay University in Myanmar. The two sides of the delegation and Mandalay University discussed the exchange of master’s graduate students, Ph. D candidates, especially MBA students, and the cooperation projects of joint training,  and reached agreement on the content of the memorandum of cooperation to be signed by the two sides.


During the period, the delegation also visited Southeast Asia Crude Oil Pipeline Company Limited (Ocean Branch), Yunnan Investment Group Angkor International Airport Investment (Kampuchea) Co., Ltd. of and Yunnan Construction Investment Group Burma Co., Ltd. , and discussed the possibility of cooperations in different fields under The Belt and Road Initiative and made in-depth exchanges of the training of engineering technical personnel and administrative personnel in enterprises, especially the skill training of Myanmar and Cambodian staff, which has achieved fruitful results.
