China-German Science and Education High-end Exchange Seminar Held at KUST

On July 21st, the China-German Science and Education High-end Exchange Seminar jointly organized by KUST and UT Clausthal was successfully held in the C.C.W Hall of KUST Lianhua Campus. TIAN Jun, Deputy Secretary of CPC of KUST, Vice President YANG Bin, Professor Hanschke, Commissioner for China Affairs of the Lower Saxony, Professor Brenner, Academician HOU Zhengmeng of UT Clausthal and over 80 KUST teachers and students participated in the seminar.

 

On behalf of KUST, Vice President YANG Bin expressed his sincere welcome to all experts and scholars from TU Clausthal, and hoped that such constant activities will contribute to further and deeper academic exchanges between KUST and TU Clausthal.

 

 

In the seminar, Academician HOU Zhengmeng from UT Clausthal, Professor Hanschke, Professor Brenner, Mr. Liu Jianhua, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Power Tools Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. Professor ZHENG Xingrui of KUST City College, and GUO Jingnan, the representative from the Primary School Affiliated to KUST --- all made presentation respectively on China’s learning from German’s energy transformation technology, the potential of China-German cooperation, the Chinese students’ studying at TU Clausthal, the importance of mechanical tools to human life, the application of dual-system teaching approaches at KUST City College, and teaching German in the Primary School Affiliated to KUST, and after the seminar, the speakers, the teachers and the students participated in the in-depth discussion.

 

 This science and education exchange seminar aims to advance more in-depth exchanges between the two universities, help to improve the research of KUST faculties, and promote the internationalization of relevant disciplines of KUST.
