The 8th Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Adventure (the 8th Yasha Adventure) was held as scheduled in Tengger Desert, Left Banner Alxa League, Inner Mongolia from April 27 to 30, 2019.

Nearly 3,000 MBA elites from 109 business schools (teams) in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan Region, Singapore, Canada, Britain, Australia and other regions participated in the competition.

It is the second time that the MBA team from KUST has participated in Yasha Adventure which was strongly supported by Yunnan Hongxiang Yixintang (a famous Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd in Yunnan).

In the three-day competition agenda, 15 athletes with weight successfully completed the 70-kilometer competition in Tengger Desert under the guidance of "Environmental Protection, Cooperation, Persistence and Responsibility" and realized the goal of the team and individuals to keep pace with the strong by challenging themselves and exceeding their physical and mental limits.

In recent years, international exchanges and cooperation have been continuously carried out through the MBA program as part of the "Comprehensive, Research-oriented and Global development” strategy of KUST, to show the image of KUST and its students on a larger stage.

The team was supported by KUST and the faculties. The competition was a good opportunity to show the Yunnan-rooted and China-oriented training orientation of KUST’s MBA.
