In the morning, Luigi Pagliarini, the representative of the joint admission team of Italian state colleges and universities and professor of Software Art and Robot Art from Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata delivered a speech themed on Art, Psychology and Artificial Intelligence. He introduced some relevant design and research theories including software art, robot art, art and artificial intelligence, artificial life art, perceptive science, psychology and semiotics and conducted one-on-one interactions with students present.

In the afternoon, the assessment team consisting of Luigi pagliarini from Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata, Tianye from KUST Faculty of Art and Communication, Xiao Pingbu and Zhangjing from Hongyu School assessed and tested the candidates’ knowledge and skills. Those students who passed the interview on 23rd of April and joint examination of Italian state colleges and universities would be qualified for postgraduate recommendation.

Students are firstly recommended by tutors in charge of a class and university counsellors as well as by themselves and those undergraduates majoring different subjects who stand out would be guaranteed admission into Italian state universities and colleges. The selected students are expected to make full use of after-school hours and learn Italian language and deepen course knowledge. After passing Italian B1 and B2 Test and successfully graduating from KUST, they will gain assured admission to one of the Italian state universities and colleges for postgraduate studies.

It is learned that the joint postgraduate project of Italian state colleges and universities, officially supported by Italian Ministry of Education, Embassy of Italy in Beijing, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Italy, is an important strategy that the School of Art and Media from KUST employs based on its course features to further internationalize education, widen access to postgraduate studies for graduates and strengthen the high-level development of all disciplines. This helps KUST provide excellent undergraduates for  the two-year postgraduate program of Italian state colleges and universities and conduct training and selection based on the graduate admission requirements and standards of Italian higher education, making it a reality for our graduates to study in Italian universities.
