KUST International Students Attended Technology Workshop of Growing AI Industry Park

On March 15, at the invitation of the AMP Dossen (Germany) Co., Ltd., KUST international students attended technology workshop of Growing AI Industry Park.

 

The person in charge of AMP Dossen introduced the current situation of cable seals and pipe seals, customized products, technical advantages and configuration, as well as improved cases and effects. International students showed intense interest in the products introduced and actively participated in the interaction. At the workshop, apart from discussing the Silk Road Economic Belt with the working staff using the Economic Corridor blueprint of China and the world, the international students also shared their travel experiences in China, and explored their majors and the future they were looking for in the international student entrepreneurship laboratory.

 

 

Yunnan Growing AI Industry Park, established in March 2017, was the first AI industry park in the Province that was launched under the policy guidance of the national 13th Five-Year Plan. Driven by a development concept that is centered on innovation, the industry park has been identified as “Science and Technology Incubator (or Innovation Centre) in Kunming” by Kunming Science and Technology Bureau. In addition to a variety of events held including entrepreneurship salons, business management, keynote speeches and project launch events, the industry park also provides “Belt and Road Entrepreneurial Base” for international students who are from South and Southeast Asian countries. Through joint efforts and cooperation development with industrial parks and universities in those countries, it has grown into a green industry park that is innovative and interactive. In 2018, Growing AI industry park was recognized as the Chinese Government Scholarship Social Practice and Cultural Experience Base during Reading China event.
