KUST International Students Participated in "B&R Initiatives” Scientific & Cultural Exchange Event

On December 21st, the “the Belt and Road Initiatives” international student Scientific and Cultural Exchange Event was held in Yunnan Guorong Zhichuang Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park. More than 20 international students from Cambodia, Thailand, Cuba, Laos, Pakistan, Madagascar and Mali attended the event.

 

 

The students visited Yunnan Lanyi Network Technology Co., Ltd. and the “the Belt and Road Initiatives” international Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base in Guorong Zhichuang Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, and embraced the new experience brought by the latest artificial intelligence technology in the interactive links of Augmented Reality(AR)/Virtual Reality(VR) experience, 360-body feeling games, magic books, miracles, wormholes, etc. The oversea students also showed the participants the history, culture and customs of their country through Powerpoint and talent show.

 

The “the Belt and Road Initiatives” International Student Scientific and Cultural Exchange Event has not only enabled the students to experience the convenience brought by modern science and technology and understand the unique cultures of various countries, but also give a fully display to the diversity and inclusiveness of Chinese culture. The international students concluded that “this event is an unprecedented and colorful blending of technology and culture.”

 

 

 

It is reported that the “the Belt and Road Initiatives” International Student Scientific and Cultural Exchange Event was jointly sponsored by Yunnan Lanyi Network Technology Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Guorong Zhichuang Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park. More than 50 international students from Kunming University of Science and Technology, Yunnan Agricultural University and Southwest Forestry University attended the event..
