Show Me Team from City College Be in Microsoft Imagine Cup 2019 China National Finals

The final competition of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2019 (Sichuan Division) was held in IPC Hub building from December 6th to 7th in Chongzhou, Sichuan Province. There is one first prize, one second prize, one third prize and seven excellence awards being set up in the division final. With the project of Intelligent Auxiliary Headset for the Visually Impaired, Show Me Team from KUST City College won the first prize and will participate in Microsoft Imagine Cup 2019 China National Finals on behalf of Sichuan Division. Microsoft Imagine Cup is a global student technology competition which gives worldwide students an opportunity to showcase their creativity & capability in making fantastic games and applications that can bring impact to the world. 


Since the launch of Imagine Cup in Sichuan Division in November, a total of 182 teams have registered and participated in the competition. After 3 rounds of competition, 10 projects were successfully promoted to the final of Sichuan Division. The final is composed of two sessions: Project Roadshow and Display Q & A. In the Roadshow session, the Show Me team displayed and explained the technology, market advantages and project development, which was highly recognized by the participants and judges. In Display Q & A session, the team answered the questions on the business model, development planning, technical improvement and so on.



The competition was jointly sponsored by the Communist Youth League of Sichuan Provincial Committee, Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department, Education Department of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department, Sichuan Students Federation. It is hosted by Chongzhou Municipal People's Government under the direction of Microsoft (China) Co., Ltd.
