KUST Organized 10th International Symposium on Precision Engineering Measurements & Instrumentation

The 10th International Symposium on Precision Engineering Measurements and Instrumentation(ISPEMI2018) was recently held in Kunming, Yunnan. Experts and scholars in Kunming whose attending the symposium include TAN Jiubin, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Dean of Center for Precision Engineering (CPE) of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Ken T V Grattan, Chairman of International Measurement Confederation(IMEKO), Academician of Royal Academy of Engineering, Professor of London Metropolitan University, Tony Wilson, Academician of Royal Academy of Engineering, Professor of Oxford University, and CHENG Heping, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor of Peking University. More than 280 experts and scholars from 11 countries and regions including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, South Korea, Russia, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong participated in the symposium.

 

 

 

     The symposium wasponsored by International Committee on Measurements and Instrumentation (ICMI), National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Chinese Society for Measurement (CSM), and China Instrument Society (CIS), and organized by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), ICMI , Metrology Committee of Chinese Society for Measurement, and Kunming University of Science and Technology(KUST). Experts and scholars discussed the forefront and hot issues of ultra-precision measurement technique, innovative instrument technology and precision engineering measurements.
