KUST First Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Running-School Project Approved

Recently, the Ministry of Education of China approved Kunming University of Science and Technology’s first Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Running-School Project, embarking the new journey of KUST to introduce excellent overseas educational resources.

In light of the Ministry of Education document, KUST will cooperate with University of Arkansas (Fayetteville) to launch the undergraduate education project on logistics engineering. Founded in 2006, Logistics Engineering in Faculty of Transportation Engineering of KUST is one of the earliest logistics engineering undergraduate programs set in Yunnan Province. It also provides talents and education services for the international cooperation in logistics in Eurasia and other regions along China's Belt and Road Initiatives. This Chinese-Foreign cooperation is designed to bring in advanced teaching theories, methods and contents, and to optimize the current course structure and teaching content, to promote this subject construction and development, and therefore, to cultivate students with a solid professional competence, strong practice and innovation capability, knowledge of the latest international developments in logistics engineering and the strong capability of international exchanges.
