KUST Team Wins First Prize in NUETIAC

On June 9-11, the 5th National Undergraduate Engineering Training Integration Ability Competition (NUETIAC) (Carbon-free Cars) final was held successfully at Shenyang Aerospace University. 103 teams from 79 universities of 26 provinces and autonomous regions throughout the country took part in the national final. KUST "S Track" team won the first prize and “8 Track” team won the second prize. The two teams were from KUST Faculty of Transportation Engineering, City College and Faculty of Mechanical and Electric Engineering.

NUETIAC is one of the most influential national collegiate science and technology innovation competitions, approved by the Ministry of Education, funded by Ministry of Finance and held by the Department of Higher Education. Its competition concept has won nationwide recognition with profound influence. NUETIAC has now become a platform for experience sharing and mutual learning between university students throughout China.
The theme of this competition is "The Obstacle Race of Carbon-free Cars Driven by Gravity Energy". The competition of different distance racing was for the first time  added to NUETIAC, requiring each team to select a pile distance at random before the competition, and the competition was thus made more challenging.
