KUST hosted 2nd International Conference of Advances in Computational Modeling & Simulation

Organized by City University of Hong Kong, Penn State University (USA) and KUST, the 2nd International Conference on Advances in Computational Modeling & Simulation (ACMS2013) was held in Kunming, China on July 17th to 19th, 2013. 170 foreign and national experts, KUST vice president Cheng Heming and assistant president Song Huanbin  attended the conference.

Well-known mechanic expert, Prof Junuthula N. Reddy from University of Texas Agricultural Machinery, hydrodynamics expert Prof C. Shu from National University of Singapore, mechanic expert Prof K.M. Liew from City University of Hong Kong are invited to present different reports on the development in computational solid mechanics, computational fluid mechanics, computational biomechanics.

During the conference, the experts presented and exchanged various research projects in computational solid mechanics, computational fluid mechanics, applied mathematics, non-linear system computational analysis, engineering problems on applied modeling & computation as well as computational fire-proofing.

This ACMS is held every two years. The conference provides an exchange platform for computational modeling & simulation development, as well as promoting international advancement in this area at KUST.
